Saturday 26th August 2023 10.00-13.00 or Saturday 21st October 2023 14.30-17.30 Don’t know where to start …this is the class for you. A class for absolute beginners and a fantastic course to get you on your way. In this one off class you will learn the basic stitches and start on your first project upcycling plimsoles or a piece of clothing. This course will provide you with the confidence needed to happily work on future projects. The topics we aim to cover in this lesson: *The materials needed for hand embroidery *How to thread your needle *How to separate your threads *Running Stitch *Back Stitch *Chain Stitch *French knot *Blanket Stitch *Satin Stitch Materials needed: • Old plimsoles or a piece of clothing that you wish to embellish,Please note NO leather plimsoles or leather clothing please Refreshments – Tea, coffee and delicious cake are included in your lesson.
