CRAFT WITH US AT THE MOVIES

I am very excited to be hosting our first Craft With Us At The Movies and am hoping to hold this event regularly throughout the year. So what is it I hear you ask? Sew Ab Fab, Darn Knit & Wool Zone have been very lucky to hire Melton Cinema for a special cinematic experience on Sunday 19th November 2023 at 10.30am. The cinema has agreed to keep the lights on during the film so that we can sew, knit, crochet etc whilst watching a fab film! A perfect way to spend a Sunday morning. The film that we have chosen is the iconic Pretty Woman, a romantic comedy starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere. The film's story centers on Hollywood prostitute Vivian Ward and wealthy businessman Edward Lewis. Vivian is hired to be Edward's escort for various functions and their relationship develops during their week long arrangement. For those of you that have not been to Melton Cinema it is a gem of a cinema, small and perfectly formed! There is a choice of regular seats, sofa’s for two or luxury seats. All seats have a good view of the screen. The team at the Regal cinema sell hot beverage in china cups, homemade cakes as well as other confectionery. From 10.00am Sew Ab Fab, Darn Knit, and Wool Zone will be there to welcome you and will be selling crochet, knitting and hand sewing kits as well as notions should you need a new project for the day or have forgotten essentials such as knitting needles or sewing scissors but you are free to bring any hand held project with you! This event is suitable for age 12 upwards but is up to a parents discretion. Unfortunately the only access to this cinema is via stairs and we apologize for this restricted access. Please book your tickets in advance to avoid disappointment on the day.
