Class Description

Dates Available: Wed 6th, 13th 20th, 27th September Fri 15th, 22nd, 29th September Wed 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th October Fri 6th, 13th, 20th October Wed 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th November Fri 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th November Wed 6th December Fri 1st Dec, 8th December ABOUT THIS EVENT Would you like to carve some sewing time out for yourself in your busy week? Would you like to sew with other people? This is a great opportunity if you already know a little sewing and a good follow on from our Know Your Sewing Machine course (attendance of this course is not compulsory in order to take part). So long as you can use a machine and have a project in place you will enjoy this session. You are welcome to bring along any dressmaking or craft project. Please note this is not a class, I will not be able to teach during this time as the shop will be open during Social Sewing. Social Sewing is purely for you to sew with like minded people, using our bright and welcoming sewing space. This price of this event does reflect this. If you would prefer a class when the shop is closed please look at our Beginners & Improvers Sewing Master Class, Capsule Wardrobe for Beginners & Beyond or our 6 x week Dressmaking class. Book as many or as few of these Social Sewing Sessions as and when you require–perfect for busy lifestyles. Materials needed: You will need to bring an existing project or a pattern of your choice, either craft or clothing as well as the required fabric & haberdashery, although we do sell fabric, patterns and haberdashery in the shop. We have sewing machines for you to use if needed as well as scissors, pins, tape measures and tailors chalk. Refreshments – Tea, coffee and cake are included.
