TWEENS DRESSMAKING CLUB X 5 Days

Class Description

Dates Available: Tuesday 15th August - Saturday 19th August 2023 15.00-17.00pm £85.00 This course runs for 5 consecutive days , the cost of the class is for the complete course, materials are extra. Tutor: Caroline Are you creative? Do you want to learn how to make your own clothes? Then this course is for you! Over this 5 day dressmaking course we will be there every step of the way to guide you to the perfect article. Please know you must be able to use a sewing machine, if you are unable to do so please look at our Tweens Know Your Sewing Machine Classes. The topics we aim to cover are: Learn how to measure yourself Read & curt a commercial pattern Understand terms used Cut your fabric correctly Methods of putting your garment together Tips on which seams to use and where Correct pressing techniques. Materials Needed: Please contact me when booking so that I may recommend the pattern needed for this class and provide you with fabric & haberdashery requirements. We have sewing machines for you to use but if you would like to bring your own please advise us at the time of booking. Refreshments: Squash & cake are included in your lesson
